An elderly couple made their way to the President's office @ Harvard university.
Ragged and dressed in tattered clothes the couple did not make pleasant viewing..
The President had no intention of talking them. Displeasure showing in his face, and every word, he wanted to get it done with..
So why are u here, what do u want...
Our son was a student here for a year, he recently died..in an accident, we want to...
Whaaaat.., build a statue for ur son!!. Sorry we cant do all that. you can go..
No...,the elderly couple hesitated..
We were actually thinking of constructing a building in his name..
yeh rite. Do u have any idea how much it would cost....The principal sneered..,atleast 1M $ ........he trailed off.
The couple had a hurried discussion amongst themselves..
Isnt that too much for u...the president sneered again..
well actually no...,If it costs just a million Dollars, in that case, we wud actually build our own school..
The president gasped...
The couple that were sitting in front of him, were Mr and Mrs Stanford..
And thus was born Stanford University.......
