ESP Anyone..

Pretty interesting..wonder if any else has had something like this before..

Friday, I was looking to get hold of someone that was in another office location of ours, and was leaving a msg at his desk No.

Thankfully, the russian tht sits opp me, was off that day...and his cube was occupied by another guy

For some reason or the other, I was thinking tht he was one of these guys that I had been trying to reach that day..

And it turned out that way. Of the 5 ppl or so that I called, I was thinking he could be one particular guy that I had been trying to reach, and when another passerby called him by his name..I was like wooooooooo'...

ah yeah.Did I say that he 'looked' spooky too...:-)

More Cricket

Ishant sharma...the next of the Tall speed merchants that India seem to be getting..these days..

Munaf, VRV Singh...and now this guy..well ....good going..

He and the other guy Yo Mahesh, who has been knocking for a while now...seem to be the next of the lot..nad are making waves at the current series for India u19 against Eng u 19.

Seems like the time frame for Indian fast bowlers is really small..

Come in on the strength of domestic performances, catch some selector or some seniors eye, dazzle for a year or 2 and then fade away with Injury...

Zaheer, Nehra, RP singh and Balaji seem pretty close to the exit door, if they are not yet out already...

Pathan seems to be following them pretty close...

And yeh add to that mix...the bheeshma of our times..Ajit Agarkar...:-D

It will be fun to watch who among these will man the Indian bowling attack..for the world cup...

I see Balaji, Nehra, and Sreesanth plus Munaf and pathan to be there representing the team at the world cup...Just a hunch...but lets see....

While on it, the Indian board's decision to not have Tendulkar take the fitness test...smells of some dirty secret hidden somewhere...

I, for one, will be really surprised if Tendulkar plays thro the whole tour of SL without one flare up...or the other...

Seems like sweeping something under the carpet..Lets see...

And then Mongia...oh boy what a flawed selection this is gonna be....

Mongia has been in form, accepted..but only in the 4 day matches in the counties,in England..and his record in 50 overs and 20-20 cricket there
this season, has been pathetic...and in the last 5-6 matches he has been getting out in single digits in almost all forms of cricket...

Considering he is going to find it difficult to break in with Raina waiting in the wings, lets see whats gonna happen to him...

If recent form was a critieria, why would they leave out Zaheer..He has had some blow hot and blow cold but mostly on the hotter side..in his
performances since arriving in England..and would have been in the positive frame of mind, had he got a go..

While at it, for the last time...Goodbye Gangs..
As sehwag said, we will miss ya:-)

The Illiterate

Went to this mall today in Burlington that had an 'Apple Store' ......

Was looking at their collection of IPods and the line ups of MacBooks and Power Mac G5's.....

Have to pat myself for resisting the temptation for not buying the Video Ipods...what with my dad and GF having already made
their demands known....poor me...looks like that elusive 'my own' Ipod will remain a distant dream...

What was impressive was The iMac's getting streamlined into the regular Market by having them fitted with Intel's Core duo Processors..

I got carried away and asked him if they are gonna do likewise and have the Turion Processors...fitted in...

Yup...Yup thatz wher the title comes in....:-D

He gave me a look that I felt if I asked him..."Is Bill Gates the CEO of Apple"...yikes...

They had the LogicXpress preinstalled as well...wow...was I impressed with that..
to compose ur own jingles..Guess I'll fall for this temptation pretty soon.........
waah...think of it..Im gonna have my own remixes....:-D

All that reminded of my first attempt to get familiar with the Macs' in Grad School..

That was a time when I was desperate to get an assistanship...and when this particular job came up that needed experience in
administering a lab that had only Imacs and no PC's...with the dual boost for me in the sense that...the job was for the Women' welfare
club...(He he....) and that it also had a tuition waiver combined with a high $1200 pay check........I was doubly keen
to extend my knowledge of Apples to macs and Cubes...

Gosh....Still remember that first exp to this day...not that I've gotten any better....from caressing the mouse to see where I should press it..

It reminded me of the Egg curry that my roomie used to cook...with seemingly no dents on any side...and I dint know how to get the damn thing to do
something...

and for getting worried that the processor hung up on me...when I realised that the desktop was totally blank and there was no startup button
anywhere...either on the screen or on the keyboard...

hmmm.....those days...:-D............
